Bankruptcy - Getting Started

When you decide that filing a bankruptcy is for you there are some documents that the Court requires you to provide to them and some information that we will need to do the job. Some of these documents are listed below.

1. Your last two years taxes. If you are not required to file taxes you can sign an affidavit.
2. The last six months pay stubs for BOTH you and your spouse even if they are not filing bankruptcy. If you don’t work you can sign an affidavit.
3. The court requires you to take a credit counseling class. We will set this up for you.
4. Credit reports are not required, but are very helpful. We can run one for you.
