Helping Children Cope with DivorceThe Courts require that all parties with minor children attend a special course. The Course is entitled “Helping Children Cope with Divorce”. The goal of the course is to educate parents on what to do and what not to do concerning the divorce and the other parent. There is a small charge to attend the course. In the past the seminar has been held at the Family Counseling Center (251) 602-0909. Many churches offer a seminar entitled “Divorce Care” which is designed to help people overcome their divorce.
